New Delhi during a first, two candidates attained full marks in medical entrance examination NEET, results of which were declared on Friday night, consistent with National Testing Agency (NTA) officials.

Odisha's Soyeb Aftab and Delhi's Akansha Singh have scored 720 out of 720 marks but Aftab has been ranked first and Singh second as per the NTA's tie-breaking policy, the officials said.
A total of seven ,71,500 candidates have qualified the exam that over 13.66 lakh candidates had appeared.The maximum number of qualifying candidates are from Tripura (88,889) then Maharashtra (79,974).
The result has been declared. I congratulate all candidates who have cleared the exam and need them good luck for future. I thank NTA for giving a replacement cohort of doctors this year. Exams were conducted during 'testing' times and therefore the spirit of cooperative federalism was also visible. I also thank all the Chief Ministers for an equivalent ," Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' tweeted.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted on September 13 amid strict precautions in sight of the COVID-19 pandemic.
From this year, the admissions to MBBS course in 13 All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, also will be made through
NEET following the amendment in National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
Test was conducted in 11 languages -- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu -- this year. supported the initial report, quite 77 per cent aspirants took the test in English, around 12 per cent in Hindi and 11 per cent in other languages.
The exam was earlier postponed twice thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore the government decided to travel ahead with it, despite opposition by a neighborhood , to mitigate any longer academic loss.
The National Testing Agency had set in situ strict standard operating procedures in sight of the pandemic, including measures like reducing the amount of candidates per room from the sooner 24 to 12.
The NTA had also increased the amount of centres from 2,546 in 2019 to three ,862 this year to make sure crowd management and staggered entry and exit protocols. Unlike the engineering entrance (JEE), NEET-UG, the medical admission test, may be a pen and paper exam and held once a year.
Accordingly, the NTA had changed centres for a couple of candidates in the week in compliance with social distancing norms and COVID restrictions.

Soyeb’s father Sheikh Mohammad Abbas may be a businessman, while his mother Sultana Raziya may be a housewife.
When asked, whether he was expecting AIR 1 Rank in NEET 2020, Soyeb said “I had attempted all the questions within the NEET examination and was expecting under 100 Rank, but later once I checked my score with answer key and got full marks, I started thinking of getting AIR 1.
further said that it had been for the primary time that any aspirant had scored full marks in NEET.
he's ready to be the primary doctor within the family. Soyeb said that his dream of becoming a doctor is now getting to get fulfilled.
Lockdown benefitted me as I didn’t stop I overcame my weaknesses I revised the topics during which i used to be weak again and again, he said.
This way, I found many doubts. The topics during which i used to be strong, I didn’t focus much. During coaching,
I daily wont to do the classroom homework and gave equal time to all or any the three subjects, he said.
Soyeb also appeared for JEE Mains
Though Soyeb may be a NEET aspirant, he also appeared in JEE Mains 2020 January attempt, to see his preparations of physics and chemistry.
Want to get treatment for diseases with no cure
along side this, I also dream of discovering treatments for diseases that haven't any cure till now; want to try to to research in such field, Soyeb said.
Did not attend home for two-and-a-half years
Soyeb’s seriousness towards his goal are often seen from the very fact that after coming to Kota, he didn’t attend home for a period of two-and-a-half years. there have been holidays for Diwali and Eid but I stayed in Kota in order that studies don’t get disturbed. I revised the topics multiple times in order that there was no possibility left to miss out on anything.
Hobbies
Soyeb said that he didn't use any leisure for himself but occasionally used his android smartphone for relaxing a touch by playing games thereon.
NEET 2020 results: This Odisha student has just created a replacement record
NEET UG 2020 result has been declared by the National Testing Agency on Friday.Soyeb Aftab, a native of Rourkela in Odisha, has stood the primary rank in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). He has created a replacement record by scoring 100% marks. Aftab has been living in Kota from the last two-and-a-half years. There are in total 80,055 MBBS seats as per MCI data and 26,949 BDS seats for NEET 2020 qualified students.
