Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is a professional kabaddi league in India that was launched in 2014. The league has revolutionized the sport of kabaddi in India and has gained a massive following among fans of the game. PKL has become one of the most popular sports leagues in India and has even caught the attention of fans around the world.

PKL was the brainchild of Mashal Sports, a company founded by Anand Mahindra and Charu Sharma. If the raider manages to tag a defender, he scores a point for his team. However, if the raider is tackled by the defenders, the defending team scores a point.

A Super Tackle occurs when the defending team manages to tackle the raider while he is attempting a Super Raid, earning their team three points instead of the regular one.


PKL has also witnessed the emergence of several young talents who have gone on to represent the Indian national team. Players like Siddharth Desai, Naveen Kumar, and Pawan Sehrawat have become household names in India and have inspired a new generation of kabaddi players to take up the sport.
